I work as a 2d artist, basically doing everything from characters to environments and 2d game assets Been doing this for 7 years now and my hourly rate only went from 15 usd to like 25 and I still struggle some times Honestly, I may just be lazy or arrogant or something But I do get to pick my work nowadays So, it's not too bad I'm from Ukraine btw

This actually does give me a new angle I have a bachelor's in media specialising in sound design and I was reading up ways to market yourself and it always was about having a portfolio site, doing a video reel etc and the task felt daunting, not to mention that I was burned so much in the industry I decided to quit it and just do music as a hobby, till I lately have been thinking of monetising my hobby into a side gig say for sound work for games or making game music etc brThis is giving me new ideas and a new thinking angle, thanks a lot Struth!

Thanks for the video I have a question, when you say you do full productions of writing, shooting, directing, and editing and charge $500-1k per day, I don't understand You are rounding to the number of days, based how many hours per day? Using days seems weird to me, why not hours? if you worked two full days and two hours the third day, you charge 3 full days? So presumably you'd be collecting money from multiple clients on the same day? Just confused Thank you in advance
