It is still a lot of work to sort pennies You now have to look at the dates I think also that wheat pennies are worth more than 3c Our local coin shop sells them at 10c each with YOU checking the dates Although you will make some money It will not be a lot for just sorting pennies by date for the copper, just a few bucks

Last week I organized my penny collection Here in Canada pure copper pennies ended in 1996 A few years back pennies were completely discontinued brFun & practical fact about pure copper… pennies working best due to their size & shape… it kills the viruses that causes warts Tape a pure copper penny over a wart for a week or so and the wart will be gone! Copper also helps relieve arthritic pain I’m currently wearing one of my grandfather’s copper bracelets made for this very purpose!

If you’re in the trades and your employer allows you to keep scrap copper, brass and copper/alum coils, do it Break it down and make your hoard as dense as possible When the time comes like it was back in 2008 scrap copper value will jump higher and higher which will help ease you through the harder times for a bit
