I have always believed that baseball is not math, although this movie is great and records the events and touching moments of that year This is the greatest sport in the world The player is always the focus, his feelings, emotions, training and experience, not calculating all possibilities with numbers

I read the book “Moneyball” and I watched the movie Both are excellent but SO different The book touches more on the history of baseball and economics But I guess the Jonah Hill character is kind of fiction They needed someone who Billy Beane could bounce off ideas with for the audience I think Even still Jonah is excellent and maybe this might be Brad Pitt’s best role
