Elon Musk made his fortune selling Teslas to early adopters of EVs in the US Many of these people are left-wing and are opposed Musk's role dismantling the federal government for Trump That's funny! Comment from : @parkependleton6453 |
I live in an urban area A local shopping center has parking spaces for about four hundred cars There is also an EV charging station with room for about eight cars Usually only a few of the charging stations are being used Comment from : @frankblangeard8865 |

There are no gas stations in the USA that doesn't have employees?brExtremely popular in Sweden especially on the country side Comment from : @Lilljehook |

EV will never happen Comment from : @MV-tz1vi |
With everything stated on this video, wouldn’t it just be better if gas stations funded and operated their own EV stations if they’re cranking 20k per pump a month? Comment from : @xcooterxsmashx |
pull their license for the location if a station it has problems more than 5 of the time Comment from : @Rene-uz3eb |
This is an excellent story Thank you very much for the analysis Comment from : @samjohnson5044 |
Sorry, I don’t think EVs will make up a majority of cars on the road for at least another 30 years simply because of all the problems they currently have Between the high cost of maintaining the vehicles, low resale value, unwillingness to upgrade infrastructure to accommodate EVs, poor battery efficiency, and the fact that two whole generations are struggling to even own a home to make use of home charging, I don’t see demand significantly moving up for several decades As much as I hate gas, it’s here to stay so learn to live with it Comment from : @UberHeroMystic |
9:58 hm no that's not going to happen, most electric car sales have come from people who already own an electric car Comment from : @soundrogue4472 |
EV charging stations think they can run with minimal staff and no security They forget stupid people exist and criminals like easy targets The amount of EV charging stations with cut charging cables and low charging speeds is outrageous Comment from : @captmaverickable |
They have to start some actual EV service station, with coffee, food and maybe other amenities so people have something to do while charging and they will make money from these amenities as well It’s kinda the business model of regular gas station, isn’t it? If they do that, they would also have staff in site and maybe keep someone here to maintain the chargers I don’t know brI think they’ll figure it out eventually, there’s definitely money to be made in this business, but they have to incentivize people to come to them Comment from : @julienriegel8246 |
Tesla? Comment from : @identiybodega |
In Uzbekiatan the number of EV cara is rapidly growing, as eell as number of chargers 200kwt charger costs around 20k US, and pure income after all taxes and payments is around 25-28 which is ok! Comment from : @realismisreal77 |
28 dollars to fill it upbrThat is the price of gas Comment from : @ralphpal |
Vending machine comparison is a terrible one Comment from : @bigbertha8 |
Gas stations are franchises The EV business model is to have a nationwide footprint Too much area to cover Comment from : @takenusername |
This video is propaganda bullshit Comment from : @barryredman2803 |
I'm not sure your gas station vs charging station is fair When I require a fast charger, I find them at highway service stops (with restaurants, convenience stores & restrooms) along with gas pumps or at service stations that provide gas pumps as well as fast chargers and a convenience store You attribute the convenience sales on the gas side only In a fair comparison, convenience store sales and food revenues should be left out of the comparison Comment from : @Oljuun |
It's a cluster Comment from : @paulflannery2834 |
I’ve had my EV for 2 years now and have never experienced range or “will it start” anxiety It’s the best high ticket item purchase of my life At the end of the day, an EV charging station is a glorified wall outlet If one company (that everyone loves to hate) can operate a huge network with a positive gross margin, so can another No These companies don’t have to drastically increase their prices to become profitable They simply have to be better Tesla’s network is 48/5 rated and I’ve never had an experience with a charger that didn’t work (Tesla’s operational stats are 991 working 24/7) EV charging stations were never meant to be “as profitable” as gas stations It’s a different experience Comment from : @macioluko9484 |
So, Ai voices are just the normal now i suppose Comment from : @joemulkerins5250 |
Surely the solution to not knowing when a machine is broken, and indeed most of the problems identified, is to make electric charging another service offered at standard petrol stations (BP, Shell, and so on) Comment from : @henryfitzgerald5857 |
Great video! Very informative and well structured This is why we're trying to crack the code on charge tracking using existing infrastructure like regular outlets in condos and apartments Charging costs at lower power levels can be easily calculated without electrical meters It's a relatively simple function of time We've implemented it in our app called EVnSteven Comment from : @swingtag1041 |
Gas station requires staff at all times??? In Finland I think only 50 of the gas stations even have staff and rest of them have staff maybe 12h a day 24h staffing is very rare Comment from : @Firzenizer |
Is this including Tesla? Comment from : @sethgerwitz |
The insurers are also going to go bankrupt soon as will the re-insurers will soon refuse Comment from : @David-fj5lz |
Charge units must be monitored try CONTROL CENTRES MORESO, IT SHOULD BE EV STATIONS SINCE WE INTEND TO REPLACE GAS STATIONS WE are used to purchasing other tons at these stations, even when not refueling Comment from : @dagogojumbo |
I believe since we are at it development stage, cost for charging should be equivalent to crude oil or gas for same distance Comment from : @dagogojumbo |
"Electricity is cheaper than gas"brbrCharging companies: Hold my beer Comment from : @Videomorgue |
One of the big sells for buying an EV is never having to go to a “gas station”brbrIdk people thought EV “gas stations” would be a good idea Comment from : @davidwilliamson8502 |

Just growing pains people Comment from : @iam01 |
They would probably make a lot more money if they had receptacles for ebikes and escooters, i actually just found out you can buy an adapter to converts the ev charger to a regular nema 240v outlet, too much for your regular phone, but that's the perfect voltage to quick charge an electric scooter or bike, at least if you own a high-speed charger that can handle the voltage It still takes 4hrs to charge, but at least you'll never be stranded Comment from : @Ironsight_Player |
What the hell is a Fatima?? Comment from : @joemaas7924 |

EVs are not practical EVs will be used to force people to accept 15 minute city concentration camps Comment from : @JohnMackay-kn3rl |

I think you're gonna have to pull your head out of your a** What about the cost of the fire when it Burns your home to the ground? Comment from : @jafffttan2589 |

Maybe they can offer a movie and a meal while people are charging Comment from : @bingo7799 |
Your overview of the charging industry has a gaping hole, it seems not to have heard of the existence of the largest charging company in the US, which is inot/i losing money The failures in the industry have bad equipment, bad software, bad service, and bad pricing, so failure is the inevitable outcome Comment from : @crawkn |
Wasted space, apart from Tesla chargers that run at 997 always on, the rest are dog tucker You dont know the profit from Tesla chargers so ergo you story is a total waste of time suggest you get a real job Comment from : @kenbarraclough3428 |
I get the feeling this is why they made the $1 coin that no one in the USA uses Liberty, Sacagawea, and Innovation 8 gram copper coinbrbrAll they need to do is put in a good old fashioned payment box next to a set of say 12 chargers It has $1 slots for each station, of which will get you say 15 minutes of L2 chargingbrbrSaid box can be ethernet wired with bluetooth backup to the charging stations to know that payment has been made and to start charging Basically the same system as car parking lots Comment from : @babelfishdude |
I like ICE vehicles Comment from : @jimmycain8669 |
My local gas station sell gas 24 hours, but there are employees there only 12 hours per day Comment from : @brianlorsung1964 |
09:05 Very funny numbers you cite here Apparently refilling only 30 kWh Average battery pack is nearly double that You might like to sh*t on EVs every opportunity you get; but there's exactly 0 ICE has any future Even if you don't care about (let alone price the cost of) global warming, or prefer for your kids to pick up the tab Comment from : @jarrodf_ |
Once upon a time, there was a trustworthy and proud new EV owner named Jake and a friendly property manager named Susan Jake wanted to trickle-charge his EV using the common area electrical outlet next to his parking stall However, Susan didn't have the budget to pay for the cost of installing a metered charging station Wanting to help Jake, Susan suggested they install EVnSteven Thanks to this one simple app, they both lived happily ever after 💚💚 Comment from : @EVnStevenApp |
the most ideal future for EV’s is interchangeable battery packsbryou trade them similar to how you do propane tanks if your battery is low, you go to a station they pop out your current one, and replace it with a charged one and you pay a flat fee for the exchange just like propane cylinders fast, easy, and would theoretically take like 5 minutesbryes, you still have charging at home, work, shopping center, etc but this would easily fix a nagging problem with EV owners Comment from : @JustinR316 |
Spacs with zero experience in the space with high admin overhead… this my shocked face 🤣 Comment from : @gustavofring-thechickenman |
This is completely outdated Comment from : @arturkasza3176 |
A quarter of chargers broken/down is consistent with what I've seen around me Comment from : @rwdplz1 |
Gas cars have limited range just like EVs What the hell Selling gas isnt profitable either Its the junk food and junk drinks they sell Comment from : @BradKalinoski |
No mention of the best selling EV in the world ( and America br Tesla br Their charging system is the best 100 working is normal Lower cost per charge and faster charging br Typical charging is 15 minutes or less br Tesla has over 3000 stations in the US with over 20,000 chargers Comment from : @frenchydampier2209 |
Not sure Tesla is losing Check the "Electric Viking" for details Comment from : @buixote |
You would think there would be a business in putting charging stations in the parking lots of large apartment complexes and condominiums The apartment or condominium could provide a complimentary number of kilowatt hours as part of their fee Ideally this would be less electricity than a person would use so that you could charge money for the additional hours Comment from : @flotsamike |
In the time it takes to charge an EV, a gas pump can fill six cars for about 6X the revenue Plus it has a convenience store, RR, food, snacks, and an attendant for a little help Comment from : @hornet224 |
Legacy media has been campaigning against EVs, and it's no surprise to see the Wall Street Journal in the vanguard of this misinformation effort Comment from : @parkerdonham6754 |
Remember gas prices will keep cimbling 5 dollar per gallon would not be it last price no matter wich cenile old man is on power Comment from : @Pablo-t6q7h |
I have zero problems with charging I don't own a Friggen WokeMobile! Comment from : @joemaas7924 |
You will be unlucky to miss out on investing in these early stages of EV Of course it will take time for EV to boom but let's not disregard EV out Comment from : @itisim |
The over expansion is a mistake Comment from : @aalhashmi90 |
Maybe this isn’t a stand alone business opportunity Comment from : @prettypuff1 |
I’ve been commenting about this for awhile now, why would someone without a charger at home want to buy a electric car and pay exorbitant prices for electricity when they could just keep their gas car and fill up in minutes at a gas station that is on every corner? Comment from : @TimRoach-hh7nf |
I will stick with regular cars due to the simplicity of refueling Comment from : @mantan9400 |
Clown worldbrLow I Q people buy any EV when the technology is not ready yet Comment from : @mantan9400 |
This is very interesting I have considered buying an ev but have decided against it because of the need charge on long distance trips The problems people have with charging stations are often in the news I didn’t know that it costs more to charge at a charging station than it does to buy gasoline Ultimately, we do need to make the change to EVs, but there are clearly a lot issues to deal with yet in making that transition Comment from : @Dogsnark |
The only company doing it right really is Tesla A breeze to use Minimal to no friction with purchase It knows your car and you just plug in and charge No screen or payment options As company’s switch to NAC (Tesla) plugs they have a real leg up in the market to be a big charge player Comment from : @hecosean |
There need to have more charging stations There is not enough to handle all of them More more more Comment from : @MWebb-ug3fh |
Whoever thought I was gonna wait 30 minutes to fully charge my clown car has completely lost it Comment from : @ManoElMacho |
🎉🎉🎉🎉Shalom Wall Street These people know how to get power from the electric charge station Just as they do cell phone Comment from : @houseofabba |
