I never bought the two billion remark, that never made logical sense to me and it seemed like Cameron was trying some odd manipulation attempt to get people to go see it more, maybe in order to support it or something From a logic point, it never made sense as Way of Water would have to break every production, marketing promotional etc record in cinema history to have a break even cost of two billion The basic rule of Hollywood is that your break even tends to be your production cost doubled Endgame i believe is currently at the top of most expensive production costs at about $400 million (might be old info)to have a break even of two billion, Way of Water would have to exceed that by nearly two and half times, which would be strange considering the first movie had a production budget of $237 millionThe AD space and promotional material was average, there's hardly any merch or collectablesSo unless Way of Water is at least twice the pervious most expensive movie ever made and three and half times more expensive than the first, I don't see how even one billion isn't breaking even Comment from : @zeroryuj6093
