so you can't read 😮 wow in Philippines we do local and English we have English literature but most of us can read but don't understand what the purpose because most students will probably work as a cashier sales person delivery driver call center agent work abroad as a maid nurse or handyman

It’s sad Really sad I read a blistering 4-5 books per what would be a semester and I’m a full time professional Sounds braggy right… no I read a book on my lunch break for about half an hour and before bed for 15 minutes This is a consistency thing not a literacy thing

Having reading assigned in school is not how children develop interest in reading Reading should be an established habit before kids get it assigned as homework Parents and caretakers have skipped reading progressively complex chapter books to children throughout their childhood My kids are habitual readers largely because they were exposed to reading and developed good reading habits from early ages

The acceptance rate for the top 20 national universities is very low If there are students unwilling to do the assigned residing, there are certainly students who would gladly take their place at these so called elite institutions
