Yeah I don't think it's worth getting the congratulations set coin graded People buy it for the packaging At that point you should just get the normal coin and get that graded

It's important to study your coins very hard first, before sending in for grading, to weed out the likely 69s I have gotten much better at detecting 69s so i avoid wasting money on grading fees You're talking about Silver Eagles though But with the AWQs, getting a MS69 or MS68 is very hard to come by and bring very high premiums

I've never sent a coin for grading but am thinking about it My hesitation is not being able to guess the grade and I don't like surprises I prefer graded coins so that I know what I have I verify the serial number when possible Recently I began buying clad AWQS in MS 67 (the S) and MS 68 (the D and trying to find Ps) I set price limits and try to stick to the limit I do not pay for the label but try to buy the same label if possible I view the graded coins I buy, vintage and modern as part of a mini collection For example I bought one of each coin from 1900 thru 2023 (one V nickel, one buffalo nickel, one Jefferson nickel) for a mini set Counterfeits make me paranoid

Well thought out information packed video Ive never sent anything off but have been tempted to on a couple things such as the 2 oz Antiqued high relief Revolver coin and my Spanish mint gold pieces or my 1884 CC GSA Morgan but other than that im reminded of how bad my luck is with burning money on fire so im very cautious on getting into something like this starting a new addiction in itself Great food for thought Thanks SW

I think it could be Spectrum Group International They Own A-Mark, JM Bullion, Stack's Bowers Galleries, SilverTowne Mint, a fair percentage of Sunshine Minting Company, Coin Vault, etc Need grading to complete a Monopoly

I only bought 2 graded coins because I wanted to see how well the company graded them and that was the 2023 ms10 silver eagle and the pf10 silver eagle hopefully since they're NGCX grade they might gain a little value due to there might be fewer of them out

SW you covered it well When I was doing the Peace dollars several dates were $$$ expensive $$$ I got 2 that were graded red-cleaned and still looked good to me "money saved"

Wolvie I just got back my 1891 CC Morgan back frombrPCGS MS58 PCGS Is super slow to get your Coinsbr back I don't pay for the First Day of Issue Not brworth it :-))
