Windows 10 is complete garbage Don't believe me? Open the Windows(Start?) menu and type "internet explorer" See what it does? It suggests Microsoft Edge Microsoft wants so badly for you to use their "new" Edge browser that it defaults to that even though you completely type out Internet Explorer This is just one example of how it sucks

I used two different school issued Macs in Jr high and high school Overall loved them, but it was a different experience to be sure Nowadays I mainly use windows, but I'd be willing to give Macs a go again

Nowadays you have to buy AMD and install a good Linux Distro for a State-of-the-Art PC Only Linux can handle the Threadripper WX to its full potential, Windows screws up with those 32/24 core processors and Mac does not support any AMD processor Mac is only supported by the people buying a status symbol, but we ICT specialists look amazed to so much ignorance

I also complained about Vista on my Dell Inspiron 1521 in 2008! But the dual core Athlon processor only had 18GHz and the 160GB HDD was really slow, less than 50MB/s Last year after upgrading the long time abandoned laptop with a 320GB HDD at 80MB/s and replacing the processor with a dual core AMD Turion TL-66 at 23GHz, I was pleasantly surprised by Vista Those HW changes and the Service Packs did make Vista really comparable to Windows 7 The problem has been, that we underestimated the power needed to run such complex operating systems I should have bought the laptop not on the lowest specs to save some money, but on the specs I ended up with

I totally agree with this review Also, If you look at the specs (RAM, CPU, etc) of an IMAC Computer for instance, you will see that you can get this same specs and more (touch screen) on a computer running a windows operating system (preferably windows 10 please) and pay much less! Basically when you are buy an apple computer you are pretty much paying for the operating system (Yes, you will have less viruses and some robust applications created solely for apple) but that is about it

Apple has some shitty practices when it comes to repairing your malfunctioning products,brthey will charge you so much money to repair something that often requires a minor repair, often forcing you to buy a new cpu or gpu when they could simply be replaced into a new motherboard The repair will be so much that they will urge you to just buy a new macbrbrThey will be generally stabler than a windows pc but for me, the hardware is poor for the cost so I won't be buying one anytime soon

Apple is absurdly overpriced It’s as simple as that, they don’t build bad products, it’s just that they overprice them waaaay too much to the point you’re paying 5000€ for a iMac Pro with the performance of a 800€ Windows 10 laptop, just with little more stability (not much more any more) and a bigger screen(I’ve seen Apple Screens under my personal microscope and they’re just regular screens guys) :/

I have to disagree with her statement about the Mac products playing games I own a late 2014 imac 5K retina i5 and it played Modern Warefare 3 tremendously well with the AMD Radeon R9 290 card and 32 GB Ram It actually beat my MSI Gaming laptop by a mile in performance processing and detail rendering So it really depends on how you use your computer to determine which is best

I think iOS/iPad is just as good for lower performance tasks and I feel lucky that I chose that line instead of MacBooks GarageBand is touch in iOS which I came to lovebrbrBy not having invested in MacOS at all, it saves something to leave it alone I did invest in Windows software, so it can stay that way as a burden or whatever it is I don’t feel at a loss personally

When it comes to Apple hardware, I'm certain it is falling down as well Is it just me? I've purchased 8 Macs in the past 10 years for our home office Only two adults use them in a home environment 6 of those 8 units have had major hardware failures that have required me to return them either under an AppleCare plan (I'd never buy a Mac without one) or beg for a fix at the 38 month mark (really 2 units failed at 38 months) I'm finding 3rd party video cards are the biggest issue, but have also had an issue with 13 inch model 2nd memory slot problems and display issues Am I just the most unlucky Apple owner there is? Apple is better than average at replacing these, but I have a couple clunky PC notebooks that are over 10 years old and still keep chugging hardware-wise

I totally agree with you about the current generation of computers - but! I'm a graphic illustrator, and right now I'm working with the MacBook Pro 2014 and that's even though I'm a Windows guy The reason is that before I bought it (more than a year ago) I bought some of the best and strongest notebooks the market had to offer (from Asus Republic of Gameers with 24gb ram, up to 15ps previous with the Carbon Fiber below) and they all disappointed me badly On the quality of the construction (which is very important to me) and performance, in a simple performance test, the MacBook Pro took the much stronger bass with the much more advanced specification, and the dell not only was not fast but twisted too! (Yes! Just like that!) The first time you opened your computer the entire body of the computer twists until the computer does not stand straight, and no, it is not a specific problem that I changed it twice and the same problem repeated itself In conclusion, when something bad happened on the PC world, I hope that things are getting better

Actually the answer is actually a resounding 'no' I would somewhat recommend the better iMacs, the 27" screen is a redeeming factor, combined with good CPU, memory and GPU specs (a bit depending on WHEN you buy their latest version though) At the very least they still have some performance value aside from the 'good looks' Macbooks / Macbook Pros / Macbook Air / Mac Mini not at all Not to mention the super expensive insanity that is Mac Pro, yes that trash can Macs are internet browsing computers for people who have no clue about performance but can waste the money There's also a bit of a cult surrounding Apple products that encourages fans to pretend there can not be innovation outside of Macs or iPhone, but the obvious truth is they are lagging behind for ages now Samsung, Microsoft, Lenovo, HP, MSI, they all bring more innovation to the table Even when the latter two are mostly about adding high-end GPUs to laptops to enable more true laptop gaming Apple is a bit of a joke when it comes to performance I'm sure plenty of students have no problem using the thing for Facebook, internet browsing and a bit of note taking and essay writing But come on, what does it actually offer beyond that? I mean, what does it really offer that should justify the price?

Yes ad no, as the retina display is still producing visibly better colours than new 4K systems, and you have in-house system deigned to function well, I have never had a windows system work as well or be as dynamic as a Mac or even Android system now availablesometimes in comparison, Windows systems feel unfished or lacking the quality assurance one gets with a Macbut in terms of price windows system win out rightI just wish Windows system consider UXD more!
