It’s mostly elite or upper class of Indians immigrant to USA who succeeded here People in poverty in India don’t even get opportunities to come over Therefore, Indians coming here has upper hand! They already have masters or medicine degrees and they immediately start working here No loans No debt! Also, they are very competitive amongst each other and want to achieve all their dreams through their kids! Reality! Sorry but the charts and stats at 6:12 DON'T reflect divorce rates as a percent That is instead "how many divorced each year, per 1000 married couples" If you want to know bannual/b divorce percentage, divide those stats by 10 You'll find that depending on the group, it's always less than 31 per year and often much lower

Okay, I disagree with the facts based on this; in India, most people also go to college That's why you see a lot of giant tech companies in India The only difference is that you get paid relatively better in America than in India They all study primarily computer science and software development Secondly, arranged marriages still apply even in the US, so family businesses stay within the family or close to the community That's why the divorce rate is low Most of them may not be allowed to get a divorce because marriage is actually between families rather than individuals Individualistic development is not achieved as parents still make the decision about what university to go to Yes, they do not always have an individual adult life Perhaps parents have always had the last word for most of their lives If you are happy with it, told what to do, who you marry, etc, it can be appalling; it's a cultural thing; if the system is working and they are happy with it, that's all that matters There is no right or wrong, but, as an individual, I don't admire the culture myself So, there is no need to praise something based on just the percentage of money, etc Life is whole; money is just part of it, not all of it
