My general rule for collecting coins especially silver is that it’s got to have the date and at least some of the design on it Otherwise I don’t care about the condition

Per ANACS 80 of all Morgan Silver Dollars have been CLEANED and it is the Skill Level of the person who CLEANED it that determines the Market Grade So Do Not Buff Your Coin with Steel Wool, Use only polishes recommended by an Auto Paint Restoration Expert or a Jewelry Repairman Or Do what I do, Study the true meaning of "Grossly Polished" (PCGS Guideline 92) Don't be Gross Man, Do It Right !
