Hi James,brbrNSF cheque of 6k was deducted on the bank statement I guess better to inform viewers that same amount was credited on earlier balances(b4 01Jun) at bank & cach book & was treated as BBF at the beginning of this monthbrbrAs it appears, cheques from clients should hv been treated as credits to the business than reductionsbrbrTkc

I've been an accountant for more than a decade now and I have always been curious as to why checks are immediately recorded as a disbursement when the company, given a minor fee, can easily stop encashment of their checks or issue multiple checks regardless of their bank balance Not a good practice but I know but should I have not been an accountant if I'm still questioning this? 😅

I hope you see and answer this Ive understood everything except,why did you subract the 45 from the Cashbook balance instead of adding it? Wasnt the Cash Book understated by 45 (7005)as compared to the 7050 in The Bank statement? Meaning we add the 45 to make it match the 7050 in the BS????
