Hi Sal, it has to be one of the most impressive coins around I am missing the 2011, 2012, 2016 and 2017 I was doing OK until the Canadian dollar tanked and the price went up Since the CDN$ has gone back up 10, I may have to give it another try

Sal, Hi I like the gold Buffalo so much I picked up 6 of them 3-1oz, 1 each proof, reverse proof, and matte finish bullion coins I wanted all three finishes I also picked up 2-1/4oz, one each in proof and matte, because of the size being close to the nickel I also picked up 1-1/10oz matte finish with the intention of a 1/10oz date run of the least expensive gold coin Little did I know the 08 would be the only year for fractionals My favorite Buffalo in my collection is my PR 65 1937 nickel I also have 4 silver, 2 graded and 2 ogp, 2 each Proof and matte So I am happy with my Buffalo type set b:)/b Donald

I've always preferred the gold Buffalo over the gold Eagle The Buffalo has a distinctively "American" design compared to the Eagle In my opinion, James Earle Fraser is the best US coin designer The Buffalos look even better in proof because of the textured fields I also like the box the proofs come in
