Buying 2x4's or 2x6's would probably save you a little $$$ and you'll have an easier time finding straight lumber

Love the design and it will work great for a dog and baby For a toddler they will be able to climb this far too easily So for safety reasons I would be concerned to use this design Great work though !

thanks for the video I made one of these and love it I left one gap larger than others so our cat could walk through we are using the gate to keep our puppy out of our kids room

great work, can you tell me what size of wood screw did you use for binding 2x2s? the one that I tried was very prone to split the wood even though I pre-drilled the hole :(
