I just finished reading Dr Joe Dispenza: Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself And Clark is right, it gives you the scientific explanation of meditation It talks about how we shift to different brain waves throughout our lives from a new born baby to an adult From Delta, to Theta, to Alpha and finally to Beta waves Meditation(if done correctly) brings us back down to Theta waves This book also talks about other topics which includes actual experiments to support them So much empirical information in this book
