This information is useless honestly I know almost everything about everyday English language, specially american I watch all movies with subtitles for over 10 years, watch English social media almost everyday for many more years But my accent is still shit honestly, I get a lot of praise from native speakers cuz i speak fast and they naturally have no problem understanding my accent, but i get shit on by people who can't put a sentence together cuz of my kinda heavy accent

this is a blatant lie it will slightly reduce the accent and make your English less formal, more conversational, but getting rid of the accent if you are over 16 and your native language is from another group is totally unrealistic I mean a Brit can learn to speak with an American accent (or in American English without an accent :), but a Spaniard, Russian, German or French - no chance I have been doing everything possible to get rid of the accent for a quarter of a century, and sometimes switch from one language to another without noticing it I can accurately determine what country a person is from by one’s accent, but I can not get rid of mine accent
