I am at the end of my MSW field placement in a school setting and I feel like I crashed and burned I could not shake the imposter syndrome :( Especially because I am advanced standing but had an awful BSW placement experience so I felt like this was my very first placement setting I feel bad for my supervisor because she has to tell me things over and over that should be basic at this point Advocating, yeah I blew thatsmh

Thank you for this! I start my BSW internship next week at a substance abuse outpatient organization and I am super nervous My supervisor is a licensed mental health counselor, not a Social Worker and I was told she can still be my supervisor The social worker they had before who was suppose to interview me no longer works there, so this is the new set up I am mentally preparing myself to have to advocate for myself if I do not feel I am being taught properly or not being helped I live with anxiety so I am already nervous about having to do this :/

Hi Lauren just to say thanks for your video's, very clear, to the point and most of all FUN I will be starting a Bachelor Degree in Social Work next March as I want to be a Social Worker at high schools I'm currently a Police Officer here in New Zealand and have been with the Family Harm Team for several years Its now time to make a career change in the right direction, its a big change as I'm 46 years old Not many male Social Workers here in NZ Keep up the good work at your school and the vids Keep safe over there in the USA Karl (BOLDY)

I only have 7 weeks left of my final internship/graduation!!! It’s been difficult finding tasks (other than doing loads of research) since the social workers are field agents and having to work from home sometimes due to the pandemic
