If you want to put a coin in a bottle, purchase a gaffed quarter from any magic shop for about $50 It's laser cut into 3 pieces and held together with tiny rubber bands The allusion is very similar to this except that no ring is needed obviously It's a great close up trick and with a palmed second coin, you can let the spectator inspect the coin Unfortunately in this day-and-age many quarters have different backings, so switching out a spectators coin is much more difficult
