Leasing is good if youbrbr1 Dont drive that muchbr2 Having a nice new car is an important priority for youbrbrIf you are ok with point A to B, a Toyota or Honda would do and you could drive it for yrs after you paid it offbrI or instance Have a paid off RAV4 2019 and a paid off Toyota Corolla 2010 that I rarely drive (that has been paid off for like a decade)brI work remotely and may drive 3000 miles a yr at most So I may lease a cool Jeep I would use from time to time, take my kids to swimming class, etc A Jeep is a car someone like me would never buy as a daily vehicle but I drive so little I've been thinking maybe I can have something really cool The RAV4 and Corolla cars 22,000 put together so I may put down 3500 for the Jeep lease and $20,000 down for a 1 yr old New 4Runner I an get for like $35,000 Comment from : @digolaverdad7313 |

Why doesn’t this video cover how people can sell the rights to purchase the car at the end of the lease? I know someone who sold the rights to purchase instead of turning the vehicle back into the dealership They got a check for $6k 36 months @ $380 with a $6k kickback at the end of the lease would bring down the overall cost of that lease to $214 a month Comment from : @danalexander2149 |

He could’ve easily explained getting out the lease early by saying this brbrYour payoff at that timebrTaxbrTag brbrBam Comment from : @kevs2good133 |

Just want to make sure I am understanding this correctly Being Pro Lease means you will have a car payment every month, until you are unable to drive and die You just renew a new lease for a new car every 3 years, and start a new round of paymentsforeveruntil you die Am I getting this right? As someone who hasnt had a car payment in 10 years this hurts Really bad Comment from : @Scfng08 |

I'm new to the vehicle leasing world and still looking for information, as I'm trying to decide if I should buy, lease, or fix up my current 23 year old car (it needs a lot of work) Leasing is starting to look nice, but I still have a few questions One question is, how does insurance work when you lease a car? Do you still go through your own insurance carrier the same as if you were buying? brbrThank you to any helpful answers I know this comment is over a year past this video's posted date, but I searched for it based on another video they posted today 31722 Comment from : @SophieMia806 |

Leasing only makes financial sense if you know for a fact you're not going to need that car at the end of the lease, and how many of us will ever be in that position? Otherwise, leasing a car is purely a vanity move: You do it because you want to drive a more expensive car than you could otherwise afford, or you like changing cars every three years Those aren't necessarily bad reasons, but let's not pretend they make good financial sense You're still eating the car's depreciation in the form of leasing fees, and you're also paying a lot more for the "peace of mind" of a car that's always under warranty than you'd ever be likely to pay in repairs The odds of anything going seriously wrong on a brand-new car inside its warranty period are are pretty slim, unless you really beat on it And if you do, and you're leasing it, you're gonna pay extra when it comes time to return it anyway My car, a 2011 WRX that I bought new, has only been in the shop once to correct a problem out of warranty It cost me $1200 Had I kept leasing new WRXs every three years, I would've blown through that $1200 in three or four months, and I would've kept paying more & more money Comment from : @shmehfleh3115 |

BMW and mini are especially forgiving in regards to wear and tear, tires are 4/32nds, disposition is 395 which is waived if you buy another BMW or Mini Three years 36000 mile maintenance included, and most Mini dealers are also BMW dealers so when you get a service loaner oftentimes they will give you a BMW When I was turning in my last BMW I had a chip in the windshield which turned into a crack, five months prior I lowered my insurance deductible to $100, father claim and put a new windshield in red before I turned in the car👌🙏 Comment from : @MugatuJag |

Hey brWanted to know if you can back out of a lease before you take the car off the lot Comment from : @scottfoggs4276 |

Con for leasing is that you are paying monthly forever and never own anything Leasing is more expensive if you keep cars more than 3 years Comment from : @NJ_Scat_Hemi_Orange |

Most financial advisers will tell you to NEVER, under any circumstances, lease a car (Unless you are of very high financial means and absolutely must have a new car every 3 years)brbrWhy? Comment from : @bilahn1198 |
So what’s the process if you want to buy the car after the term of the lease? What would be the value? Are you going to be charged for the full brand new amount or is it the value of the specific car at the time? Comment from : @masteryoda7583 |
I have been leasing for 22 years Why buy when you are most likely to get into an accident these days Owning a car with a carfax accident report will not help you when you sell Cars are not an investment Cars are a depreciating expense that have one use A to B Comment from : @adamy3834 |
I wish you would share how you got it down to under $400 a month When I use a lease calc I get about $500 a month That’s at $38k, 36/10k miles, 3 sales tax, acq fee, 000100 mf And no money down Comment from : @krehbein |

I don't agree with leases It's like paying rent, money down the drain You don't rent your clothes do you? Clothes depreciate as well Plus on leases you pay interest Buying cars zero down and zero apr worth it plus maintenance for the first 3 years Comment from : @elpunky1161 |
How much do you have to put down in money before you lease a n do you get any of that back Comment from : @dalehorton2069 |

I would suggest, when possible, sell the leased car at the end of the lease I have sold every lease I've owned to the dealer I am getting a new lease through and rolled that equity into the new deal Never turn in a lease and lose the equity Comment from : @kevinc6763 |
Renting vs buying, leasing vs financing, marrying vs dating, working for someone vs starting your own business, but nothing is more valuable and depreciates quicker than one’s life Comment from : @borisgetman9222 |

I like you guys, but this is dead wrong In most cases you should not lease It will cost you money in the long run One of the lessons I've taught my three children as they enter adulthood is that they should avoid car payments if at all possible and that certainly includes the worst deals which are leases Comment from : @tiw2572 |
At $400 a month for 3 years that over $14k!!!! That’s a LOT of depreciation if you are still in the positive after that Comment from : @Mr3X7R3M3 |

Leasing is the dumbest way to get into a car Most people drive over the mileage limit and get stuck with a large bill Also dings, dents, and scratches are your responsibilitybrbrHe is talking about wanting to avoid depreciation, but has no problem throwing about 14,000 over three years to something he rented 🤦♂️🤦♂️brbrSigning a car loan at 60 Apr would be better than a lease 🤦♂️🤦♂️brbrThis guy is proof that age doesn't always mean wisdom Comment from : @michaelh5055 |
And definitely lease a Mini since they are worthless after 36000 miles Comment from : @rontopp |
If your residual is close to or above 60 and your money factor starts with three zeros, you should definitely lease! Comment from : @rontopp |
10,000 miles per year is terrible Why make a payment on something you cant drive? Leasing for a non business owner makes ZERO SENSE financially Comment from : @UltimateTexasHoldemGuru |

I am currently in the market to lease a vehicle and it is my first time leasing How did you manage to lease the vehicle with no money down? Or is that dependent upon the bank you use? Comment from : @talkaboutit266 |

Unless you are buying a vehicle that will hold its value (pickup truck, luxury car or SUVetc), what you think you are gaining by owning is negligible Comment from : @brianpawlowski6498 |

Global warming? Comment from : @Jleitte |
Atleast you could buy a new car and sell it every 3 years, You will still have the maintenance and warranty and if you drive something that doesn't depreciate like a German car you'd lose much lesser money Comment from : @maestrodevil9566 |
Didn’t mention possible pull ahead programs which are all the rage now due to used car shortages :) Comment from : @dbdigital57 |

I never leased a vehicle before, but doesn't Maryland have excise taxes like here in MA Maryland's excise tax is 6 and since your not putting any money or a trade in that would mean your on the hook for the full $2500 for that $42000 vehicle If you count the excise the 2 following years, that's around $4000 for all 3 years i'm guessing Comment from : @toolman4816 |
Leasing a vehicle is a smart decision specially if something happens to your job you can return it back Comment from : @travisbinder9426 |

I can’t believe I find you I’m about to return my leased Mini, the 3rd Mini I own, and the sales person offered me 0 incentives to get a new leased Mini I’ve been a Mini customer for 12 years so I felt unappreciated and I am now looking to lease from another brand 😢 Comment from : @anagarciaperez699 |
