Great Video! Thank you for taking the time to post it brbrWould you mind answering a clarifying question? brbrAt 11:20, you mention that you can do "many more columns" Let's say my goal was to use VLOOKUP to search a table area and instead of returning the 2nd cell only, I want cells 2,3,4, and 5 to show up brbrIs that possible? Can you refer me to a video that shows VLOOKUP that only shows a certain range of numbers, but if the result does not fall in that range leaves the cell blank? It would be like if you only cared about the boomerangs that cost between 15 and 20 dollars in this example Comment from : @mwgiguere |
|
Sometimes when I v look up , i get some lines as #N/A when there is in fact data in the other table , so it picks up some results but get the N/A in some , why is this and how can I fix it ?
thanks Comment from : @Da_Crow |

You only need absolute when you are "copying the formula" and you want the references locked Comment from : @excelisfun |
|
Why did you originally use absolute values on the first example but did not later on (the f4/$signs)? Comment from : @crystlicetears |

@7aya84 , you do not need to make it absolute all the time If you will never copy the VLOOKUP formula to another cell, there is no need to make it absolute Comment from : @excelisfun |
