I don't know about Silver but I know that if you put some "ketchup" in your hand and roll/rub a copper ring, jewelry or any other item made of copper it will quickly regain it's shine and beautiful appearance

What's the difference whether they're tarnished or not? Silver tarnishes I've got about 250 ase's some shiny some black Will a buyer care? I don't get it When i bought them from my lcs some were already were colored the store owner said it's OK silver tarnishes So now it matters? So it doesn't matter when you buy them now it matters when you sell them? That doesn't make any sense

So tarnishing vs toning is in many ways a matter of opinion Kinda like weeds Weeds are anything we don't want I understand that severe tarnishing and toning can reduce value but some people like it

What about a common kitchen vacuum sealer? You can individually seal them if you like to see the faces, or wrap an entire stack

So toning imparts a desirable discoloration while tarnishing imparts an undesirable discoloration I suppose you could say one mans toning is another mans tarnishing and vice versa

Thanks for putting the time and effort into doing this video I want to respectfully say if you stated keep the coins in air tight tubes like they come from the mint, so they won't tarnish from sulfur in the air, it would be that simple Not trying to be rude, but I do videos as well And fifteen seconds would have done the trick🙂brbrThanks again for your time and effort to do the video🤪

My silver that I want to keep shiny is stored in a ziploc bag or airtight container along with silica bead packs Every 6 mos, I just lay the silica bead packs in a metal tray and bake them in the hot sun for a couple hrs to dry them out Cheap Easy Works great

Hey silver dragons I recommend to not clean them but if you have to use this cool chemistry experiment:brbrIn a Tupperware or container make the inside lined with foil on the shiny side up and put baking soda and hot boiling tea water in there and drop your silver in there DO NOT SCRUB YOU EILL SCRATCH IT AND DRY IT WITH A CLEAN MICROFIBER CLOTH The tarnish comes off from the coin onto the foil!!!!!!!!!!!

Greets from Poland I actually work as an undergroung miner in KGHM company, which is the biggest silver producent in the world And funny thing: we are technically a copper mine, cause copper is the main product of our mines, silver and gold are just additional metals we produce Despite that we are the biggest silver producent KGHM has great profits from the production, however we as miners don't participate im the profits (high management do, politicians do, but we as miners don't) Our salary is about 50 of a miner salary in US That just how things are in our country Nonetheless I try to save some money and I put some part of my savings in bulion silver coinsbrBest od luck
