Music annoying Ok anyway my gate has different top fittings (maybe an improvement Thought it was straight got it on but those disc thing are only partially on the wall and partially exposed but seems solid enough That one was for the kitchen One upstairs is a different story Small landing There’s a door frame on top of the stairs and it has a curve So have to fit one step down But to do that need extension fml Back to the shop tmw Will update soon Btw got these at Tesco £13 each on sale

The wall pads have holes for screws, indicating that this is how they should be attached to the wall, rather than just by the friction of the screws in the frame being extended to tighten the gate in the place of installation I would feel better if the pads were screwed to the wall when the gate is located above stairs, increasing the safety aspect of the gate

As an engineer, I couldn't understand your diagrams, therefore needed to look at this video However, the top screw adjacent to the lock doesn't have anything to secure it in place Managed to get it to fit, however, the design needs improvementbrAnyone without access to the internet would have NO CHANCE in fitting this onto a door frame
