Years ago when my husband was a Forrest ranger, I always used a double have y start his on his uniforms He looked incredibly awesome, and his uniform was stain proof, wrinkle proof and could last almost a whole week Don’t work harder, work smarter!

Well, starch was more useful on linen (flax), which doesn't rely on hot climates to grow like cotton, which is less wrinkly than linen

Starch makes your clothing stiffer if the crease isn't there when you starch it it's not gonna be there after I had a guy who over starched his shirts to where they didn't deform when you picked them up and he used them as welding attire for outdoor welding

Starch is useful for thicker cotton shirts that are supposed to be stiff and inflexible, but for the vast majority of people, a decent steaming and ironing or pressing will be more suitable Also, you need to use a really dilute starch wash that has been heated long enough to actually gelatinize the starch molecules for it to be able to set properly once dry and ironed Too much starch and it creases easily and you can feel the starch on your skin as you wear the garment

dry cleaners have different press machines that they usually use regardless of starch you can also use starch with those machines, which will make the starch more prominent and smooth from the heat brbrstarch makes the shirt really stiff like cardboard wrinkles could be noticeable but its usually pretty straight honestly most of the customers that wanted starch shirts were cowboys

To clarify,brbrThat's the process of Laundering Shirts brbrThe cuff and collar machine is only used for that process and not for Dry Cleaning finishing/pressing brbrTwo completely different processes If you're having your shirts Dry cleaned the finishing process is a bit different, where most of the time the shirts are hand pressed brbrbrbrGreat content though 👍
