As someone doing the UCT QS honours course I would not recommend applying to UCT 80 of honours students do not pass Management accounting which is an entire year subject and or fail STA1000F twice and have to add another year onto their studies Out of 20 honours students last year there are only 3 that i know of who graduated in March The rest are redoing Management accounting with the new group of QS hons students like myself who will most likely be adding another year I recommend you apply to Wits as its the same qualification with the same accreditation Comment from : @Clutchtheclownz |

For UFS, also offeres Distance Learning (Part Time Studies) for QS maybe that minimum age and emoloyment applies to that Their full-time BSc is not 4 years but three years minimun followed by BSc Honours for 1 year Comment from : @sisekobonelwa1886 |

Lol you left out a few Among them is the Durban University of Technology, they offer a Bachelor of Built Environment in Construction Studies and a Bachelor of Built Environment Honours in Quantity Surveying 3 years and 1 year respectively They have been trying to make the route to quantity surveying uniform lately Another thing worth touching on could be how professional registration works, hopefully the SAcqsp updates the accredited courses soon and how that affects registration Comment from : @radaldred2771 |

For those students who do not qualify for a BSC in construction studies or Quantity surveying You can do your National Diploma in Building Science(3years) at Walter Sisulu University Requirements - level 4 in Maths, Physical Science or Accounting and for the Extended program a level 3 in Maths and Physics is accepted (4years) However you will have to apply to other Institutions for your Advance Diploma in QS or Construction Management Comment from : @sipokuhlefika5601 |
