I have a TCL tv with a black screen I've tried all of the recommended "fixes", but none of them work The TV was purchased for a guest bedroom so has been barely used, maybe 15 hours It's no longer under warranty TCL refuses to do anything, even after the problem being escalated Anyone considering purchasing a TCL TV should keep in mind that the product is poor quality and TCL doesn't stand behind it Better to spend your money on a more reputable brand I have a Samsung big screen LCD that has been heavily used over its 10 year life, but has never had a single problem Seriously, TCL is cheap garbage Avoid it like the plague

Great TV for a time, but lasted less than 3 years before it went out (would have been 40 of the original TV price to fix) Don’t by a cheap Chinese product and expect it to last

Bought gift for brother of a TCL TV paying just under $2000 in March 2017 2 1/2 years later dead screen, no parts to repair with a repair costing more than a TV Absolute crap product, hard to impossible to communicate with company which has offshore call centre Worst buy I’ve ever done brbrSave the heartache, buy another brand, make sure it’s not from TCL Manufacturer Really disappointed as since the LCD TCL TV failed I’ve found 1000’s of other pissed off people who bought the dodgy TCL products

I bought TCL 65EC785 last week for 8500 swedish kronors (800 dollars) Great 4K picture/video and superb sound quality by Onkyo It has a great integrated Onkyo soundbar Very good tinny build design Metal finish I got 2 remote controls Updated with android Pie 90 I am very happy with it after one week I have 60 days to test and return it to the store if I wish But I think I will hopefully keep it I watch twitch streamers and Netflix on it

TCL TV not good and Tcl company can't support the customer and all corporate advertising not true and they are lying about everything , If you buy TCL and have problem you must call them 4 time and take the receipt to seller ( Good Guys ) , they contact to TCL after that take 25 days to 30 days to some one call you and say we send you technician to have a look ((( Buyer must be careful about money and time )))

These are the type of tests that my grandmother would buy as a reason What other tvs did he test it with? When he mention that something is better but cost more, is it 10$ or 100$? He left so much information out that would be things for us, as consumers to decide He says that some of the comparators were 120 hz and that it wasen't a major thing DUDE? This is most important reason why to actually buy another tv For those who enjoy playing, xbox/ps should know that the next gen consols, ps5 and xboxx will support 120 hz gaming so that's really really important aspect I hate when these old tech peep has no interest in anything but numbers

I bought a TCL 4 series a while back, 55" with ext wrty out the door for under $400 Totally blown away Very bright, crisp picture and the speakers are great for these thin TVs There are better pics out therefor 2x the money and ROKU IS THE BOMB, the others are not even in the same league Just buy the TCL, you will feel good about the money you spent and money you saved

It's a really nice TV but here are the downsides as far as I'm concerned (I've owned one for about a month): 1) 60hz motion does not do well with Blu Rays- the soap opera effect is discernable, even with action smoothing turned off I noticed the same thing when watching Netflix and TV- it's slight, but still noticeable 2) You can't watch Youtube through Roku There's an app you can get to transfer it to the TV, but it's a hassle 3) I've seen sporting events look better on other TV's- not the worst, but the motion isn't the best, prob another consequence of 60hz

I bought this based on CNET but the sound on this TV is horrible I know that flat screens are notoriously bad sound but this is like listening through a tin can There is no way to adjust the sound individually except for 6 preset sound modes The picture quality is really inconsistent too Not impressed

Everyone that i know that has purchased a tcl has had issues All of them stopped working, all of them have been returned I have seen no good reviews and always the same complaint of them not lasting very long I would not waste my time or money on this crap The only inexpensive tv that I have ever bought that has lived up to exceed expectations is my LG that I still use,
