That is why our children are checkout out of society or with each other Their faces are glued to the screen, sometimes to the expense of their lives There is no critical thinking because they can find the answer on line and don't know how how to interact with each other to carry a simple conversation Technology has its benefits but it is not the be all and end all We have children dealing with depression because of a post someone made, cyber bullying and a host of other problems

Education should not, should NOT, be "child-centered" Children don't know how this technology rewires their brains Allowing them to use technology should be 100 controlled and limited by their parents, and their teachers This is not about career and college readiness This is about a student developing a human connection rather than a USB connection Using technology in the classroom from elementary school on up to graduation That's a huge, HUGE mistake
