What about some mild steel (Im guessing in the case of galvanized, the galvanization has been removed with vinegar first) can I do it this way or do I need to nickel plate it first? LOTS of misinformation here - the 'nickel activator' as he calls it - is actually NICKEL PLATING SOLUTION you have to plate it with nickel BEFORE plating with gold because can you guess why?? yes!! that's RIGHT! because of the electrochemical series! remember high school?

HI great video,well donebrif l don't heat the gold solution to 140 as you mention what would happen, also if l heat the solution and than re use it would that affect the property of the solution and the last of all you've used stain steel screw can use this if lam plating copper or any other tape of metal, bryour answer is very important to me many thanks bravoooooooo
