I respectfully disagree The highest Play Money ZOOM tables on Stars have about the same average pot size as ZOOM NL2 People aren't that splashy actually, especially during european daytime I mean i have only played NL5 profitably back in the days so i am obviously not the most skilled player around What i can say though is that i had a hard time beating "high stakes" PM tables after a long breakbrbrBeating PM doesn't guarantee beating micro limit RM tables Not beating PM however gives proof to failure in RM environment imhobrAnd that information costs nothing but a little time while you can get used to the play environment, practice some BR management, analyze some of your mistakes and have a little fun What's wrong with that?

Play money cash games are a waste of time Play money tournaments are beneficial for beginners (they were for me) The people messing around get eliminated pretty fast and you're left with people taking it seriously It taught me enough to beat my drunk friends at poker almost every time we played at least It helps you learn the basics before you play for real money I worked my way up from play money games, through the microstakes and now I play $50 & $100 buy-ins online :-)
