Just my thoughts on these ( Sorry if it comes across agro, I'm not, just speaking from my personal experience ) brMost of these are complete 2nd businesses And will require a lot of work, if not more than your main biz The renting one only really works if you have the top of the range gear or latest, (unless it's expensive vintage), which tbh, nobody needs, especially if you're looking for a profitable biz(Top photographers delnot youtubers/del either rent VERY expensive gear, or use really old gear until it dies) If you can afford to keep buying the latest and greatest every year you likely don't need a renting biz Either you are over spending on gear in the first place, or you doing pretty well! brPlus the insurance you'd have to pay for renting is riduclous and the promotion of your renting biz would cost both time & money And as someone who has rented out gear in the past, it's a bloody hastle, people are just no don't do it, almost as bad as facebook marketplace ;) lol UNLESS you are gonna make the renting biz your Main biz In that case hire people and go all in But again, the same goes for a lot of these brWhat I would do for most of these, is make a partnership with a trusted photographer, AI/digital artist or businessman and run the biz together, get someone who compliments your weaknesses If you're not so good with Socials, promoting or hate anything that's not photography get someone who loves the biz side of things involved brbrAnyway, some nice ideas in theory, just as long as people are realistic about what they have to do compared to what they get back Saying all of this, I do know some people that have just fell into the right place at the right time and made a killing doing something that started as just a side hustle It's never a given though
