i’ll tell you one thing about cwd i been helping with the hunters education classes and this is my advice to the new hunters in wisconsin… i told them if you see a lot of asian doing them stop eating cwd deer, because we asian cook and consume everything in the deer especially the spinal cord bones, stomach, intestines, heart liver even uses everything except the main not edible bones

The difference between EHD and CWD EHD is ignored and kills much higher deer numbers CWD kills a handful of deer a year and is screamed about EHD is basically Cancer and CWD is Ebola In the deer industry we ignore the disease that actually kills deer and worry about the one that kills a few but is theoretically more deadly

The states have to increase antlerless deer harvest via a mix of incentives, low cost or free anterless tags, management on a monthly or even weekly basis, paying farmers to increase permission hunts with indemnity for damages caused by dumbasses who shouldn’t own a firearm, with a mix of requirements, one doe kill before a buck kill and make the recreational land owners also increase their anterless harvest Watch their glorification of their buck killing abilities on YT compared to our public land hunting buds This creates islands of unwanted anterless deer to catch and spread CWD In all fairness, some public hunters are guilty of this too

I'm curious if the Iowa DNR ever tests Coyotes? Besides humans they consume deer as well CWD to my knowledge has never jumped species I may have heard scientists did it in a lab with mice I'm one that will continue to eat deer without testing

Set up my 9 year old son 2 years ago with the original cruzer Fantastic bow He actually hit 42#s draw weight this summer and will be trying to take a deer with it He has taken 2 deer with a crossbow but now ready to step up lol 😂

Wisconsin is not the first state to detect cwd That's a lie Shooting more healthy deer doesn't slow cwd 100 of deer with cwd do not die from it There is no factual evidence showing that so please stop lying to the people People need truth and covering up other problems isn't helping the people or the deer I've done research proving it does not kill 100 of deer it infects Don't use Wisconsin as a reason to dismiss your own path with cwd

Great video good to see the kids excited at the flight of the arrow cwd is in pa now kinda feel like the state isn't as prevalent as testing as I believe they should be my wife's uncle just passed away from cjd the human form hunted multiple states all his life Dr's actually mentioned that it may have been from venison consumption very scary for us who feed our families with wild meat I think testing should be mandatory to prevent even the possibility of this happening

I'd like to share something I've been wondering for a few years With all the landscape companies who spray incescticides and pesticeds And deer are constantly eating those plants Also applying deer repellent and after 2-3 wks that fades off and they also eat those shrubs/lower tree branches Would like to know if anyone is looking into this I'm very familiar with the tree/shrub spraying and the chemicals are potent and it should be looked into As a hunter I've always thought this can't be good The amount of companies doing these treatments are large in numbers and it seems to have started in a large scale across the country in the 90s Seems like all these problems started in the 90s to present It's concerning but what wildlife commission will go up against let's say Monsanto etc?

Getting the boys set up and tuned was cool, I remember my 4lol Talking about the diseases with a knowledgeable person was interesting, and I remember alot of diseases have been around in my lifetime Citrus Canker, Bruscelosis, Mad Cow, CWD, to name a few I'm not sure if there are patterns to these, but it's hard to understand how they are not only spotty in certain states, but how the disease jumps missing counties and or states I personally don't understand it Love what ya'll do for sure

No deer have survived cwd? Tell that to the deer farms They have found that the prions are caused by blood being acidic They found fixing the PH of the blood using humic and foilic acid supplements has lead to cwd going into remission and the deer putting on weight and continuing to live unaffected

In my opinion, the worst thing you can do, is test your deer If you truly want deer on the landscape, it is not eradication which is what the DNR will promote Will deer die of CWD? Sure Will they build a tolerance to it Of course CWD did not just happen It is only because it has recently been tested, and was likely around since deer were How long have deer been around? Thousands of years No offense to the DNR, but if you truly think you can wipe out this disease through eradication, than you'll need to kill every damn deer alive So why do I post this? Because I saw what eradication methods did here in southern Wisconsin They certainly reduced the herd to numbers that were ridiculously low It took private landowners to decide they were not going to play the game, where the hunter was playing the roll of reduction of the herd We are not reducing the herd We are not testing We are eating the deer without testing Why? Because it is not (so far) being transmitted to humans I can promise this Test your deer, and CWD exists Don't test it, and it goes away like acid rain The last thing I'll say is this There is literally no method currently available to eliminate the disease completely So why would reduction benefit the hunter? I'll only ask who would it truly benefit? Perhaps special interest groups who use fear mongering methods to make people comply?

Worst bows EVER!
