I have a backwards compatible model but sadly it will only turn on by putting a disc in the power button doesn’t work yes the back switch is on and right after it turns on it turns right back off it takes forever to finally to get it to stay on does anyone have any solutions without taking it apart thanks in advance

The first batch in the 30 and 60 GB configurations were backward compatible with PS2 games The second batch with 40 and 80 GB supposedly weren’t but my copy of MotorStorm Arctic Edge (Originally PSP, ported to PS2) worked just fine in my 40 When the slim launched, all bets were off
