Honeslty, IMO, gaming laptop is so worth these days brbr1 You will get so much less electricity bill with performance of medium to semi-high desktop since gaming laptop like only using 50 watt at lowest, to 150 watt at average, and 200 watt at top while PC using like 500-1000 wattbrbr2 Portable, especially if you traveler or live in a country with high rate of earthquake or any other natural disaster or if you don't have room For example you want to use it while in living room, to bedroom, to kitchen, bring it to anywherebrbr3 Best aspect is, gaming laptop getting cheaper Instead of buying new iPhone or Samsung Galaxy S Series, go buy gaming laptop like MSI Bravo, MSI Cyborg, ASUS TUF, Acer Predator, Lenovo, HP, etc with the same price (after upgrade) if not less price

You're gonna waste the equipmentbrbrBetter to go with a micro pc If you're a business professional in hotels a lot you can use a tablet for the screen, controller case or a mouse and keyboard in your carry on brbrIt's a bit less convenient to use But it'll last a lot longer

I'm getting like a Acer Rog Nitro 5 something like that with a 1650 graphics card in like 12 GB Ram I want to play a game like boneworks on it but if I don't get a VR headset to play boneworks within two months after my birthday I'm probably just going to install like Ubuntu Linux on it because most the games I play are supported by Ubuntu Linux so I'm really just going to use it for light desktop use and medium and low and gaming

I got a desktop grade gaming laptop- It cost me a tad bit more in my country than it would in some other countries, and I definitely went over budget (my budget was around 80k INR which is about 1k USD, I spent 100K INR… which closes in at a bit more than 12K USD), and it’s equipped with a Ryzen 9 5900HX, RTX 3060 6gb I added a Samsung EVO 1TB NVMe to it, as well as upgraded the ram to 32gb bringing the total cost to around 120K But now it actually outperforms my workplace PC (im a game dev, I got a decent PC at work) So yeah, totally worth the money All games run pretty great at 1080p everything set to ultra with 80+fps, and I can also run my favourite RDR2 at 4K all set to ultra, 30fps WITHOUT DLSS… with DLSS I get a decent 60-70fps so it’s great! I was a bit skeptical about the 3060 but it’s really fucking powerful, tbh And Unreal Engine runs pretty great as well, delivering some great fps at super graphic intense scenes and all… so yeah, it IS a desktop grade laptop Cooling is a bit of an issue but I got a cooling pad with 6 fans that max out at 3000rpm, and it works just fine!
