I bought a Meade ETX about 13 years ago honestly, I was very disspointed Eventually I managed to see the rings of saturn and the eye of jupiter - BUT they were tiny, blury images Using (bought extra) filters, the Moon looked fantastic Changing lenses changed what you see but I was hoping for more than a dot way over there for £800 + £300 in accessories I wanted to take my OWN photos and hang them in my house (yes, I am a Trekkie) But the set up simply couple not even see it, let alone photo it Comment from : Da Mighty Shabba |

Hey a question, im in a very small village (like 300 or less people and a brottle of 2-3 like 25) but this mounth in july I see like only 30 stars, but in august my mum went and saw like hundred and hundred of stars (even the milky way) so why in july like august its almost pitch black but the number of stars are not the same? I have actually captured a few long-exposure shots of the starry sky with my Galaxy S9 (but I also have S8 which takes nicer photos) about 2-3 months ago The exposures were either 4 or 10 seconds long (not many options on a phone)br I used a small phone tripod AND the way I snapped the photos was with voice-activation ("Cheese"), so there was no shaking brAnother way to prevent shaking is to use the countdown timer function which most phones and many cameras havebrThough the pictures look really nice, I am well aware of how much better they would look with larger lens (phone vs a DSLR camera) Comment from : Edin Fifić |
