Thank you Adrian for such an informative video I've a few questions for someone working in Canada (BC) but not a Permanent resident Or Citizen of Canada eg I am here on a work permit (temporary resident visa) I know I would have to leave the country If I lost my Job and Because I am not a citizen I might have to leave the country at some time I won't need EI and CPP benefits Would I be eligible to stop these deductions? Hey Adrian, I was just wondering about the salary you decided to pay yourself In your first pay stub you mentioned that you're paying yourself $90k per year, which places you into the second tax bracket My question is, why not just pay yourself the $50k per year so that you remain in the first bracket to pay less tax? Does the extra $40k income to your business have less benefits than giving it to yourself? I'm just curious as to what your thought process was when figuring out that number Thanks! Hi Adrian Me what I wanna know is im trying to estimate my 2022 tax refund with a online calculator I almost maximized my RRSP contributions this year Besides federal and provincial taxes paid and shown on paystub, what other deductions go into the tax refund calculation?
