I went to Costco and when I joined I totally forgot they take only Visa I have the Chase Freedom Flex [Mastercard] So I called Chase and ask for a product swap into the Chase Freedom Unlimited [Visa] Chase wanted to do a hard inquiry for this product swap?

Us Bank Altitude Reserve using mobile wallet at Costco 3x and which is equal to 45 that is surely the best That Venmo card is a great deal too

I got the Costco card a couple years ago since it had a lot of good categories all in one card It's less good now that the CFF and CFU earn 3 on dining, but it's still a good card for gas and Costco itself I don't spend a ton at Costco, though I'll keep these in mind if that changes

I was shopping around for a new Costco card Important note - the BofA cards get affected by funds you have with the bank - you can get from 050 (>$25,000 with the bank) to much as an extra 15 (>$100,000 with the bank) on top of that 2 grocery / wholesale

I have been a Costco member for 20 something years and unless I am mistaken and I don’t believe I am other than debit cards the only credit card Costco will use is that Citi Card if they issue you may not use any other credit card in Costco It’s negotiated that way so that Costco has a deal with the credit card company and they do not charge Costco quite the same amount of money on credit card purchases as most businesses would pay You can double check this but I know I’m right on this so you shouldn’t be recommending the other cards At Costco

I was really happy to find out that Costco codes as groceries for the Venmo card 🤩 previously i would use my freedom unlimited but now I use my Venmo visa exclusively at Costco, which works out perfect because I get the 3 inside the warehouse & 2 at their gas station, which I’ll take any day 🙏🙏🙏

Great video but I would also add that with the Bank of America cc if you are a preferred rewards member you get an extra boost up to 75 on your credit card depending on what tier you have You do need over $100,000 in investments or savings in order to qualify for their best tier If you did, this would be probably the best card to use at Costco

Just to add to what others have already mentioned, when I signed up the card they were offering a sign up bonus I got a year membership for free when I signed up Also you still get the rewards for the previous year even if you don't renew your membership
