I would never ever tell someone to start with Etsy again!! They shut my 3 shops down without any reason and after i went against it, it said that my respons will be "carefully checked", and my shop checked again, and I will hear sth in the next 2-3 weeks Not even 1 minute later I got the carefully checked (!!) respons Banned forever!! Without explanation and no chance to reply again!! In 1 shop i had digital downloads that i made 100 myself and mockups for different products that i also took real pictures for Not 1 thing that could go against any rule But no chance against them!! I worked my off for 1 straight year, 24/7, and they just decided this is it Simply terrible And the funniest thing They sent me an email after they already banned my shop to check my listing pictures and read the rules for listing pictures again and to "fix" it Besides the fact that it was already too late, my pictures were ALL exactly what they asked for! Unbelievable

I don’t think that just the design would make someone buy a product from a new store There is much more than that Just to attract so many people to look at your product among thousands of listings, that by itself, it’s a huge deal Usually, as a new store, your listings are not going to be at the top of the searches So, how do you make your listings visible to so many people? What do you do to convince them that you are a better seller when you haven’t even sold 1 item and have 0 reviews The list of issues you need to get right from the begging is long and those so-called instant successes make me very suspicious

I am blown away and confused at the success of these stores who on Earth is paying $39 for a generic phone case? I checked the listings for this store and they aren't on sale Usually Everbee's costs are way off because they don't take sales into account I don't know any adults who would fork that out $39 for a scrapbook style phone case and kids change their phone cases way too often I swear to God I'm starting to think Etys is behind these stores just to get us to list stuff I keep looking at Etsy statistics and I see Christmas digital art still selling for $8,000 a month - we all know that's not happening I'm starting to question the reliability of Everbee

I checked the listings on summerlegacy They have zero tags in their listings, titles with words that have small search results on erank, seems quite suboptimal for "organic" sales The math isn't really mathing for these results

Actually all of this is doable and potential, the only problem with Etsy POD is how to solve a maxout CC (paying printify or printfull when there are bunch of order and we need to pay the printing first) If only Etsy has their own printing service like Redbuble, Society6 or probably they need to collaborate with major printing services
