I don’t understand why the fact that such aid comes in the form of credit with US arms companies makes it a “good deal” for the US taxpayer… how about they pay for those weapons with their own money (they could afford it, and if not they could raise public debt, they have much lower debt/GDP ratio than the US)?! This way US companies still sell and the US tax payer would have 4 extra billion a year to be spent on things such as domestic healthcare, education etc
