The big problem with Rocket Languages is that they only cater for 14 languages (well, 12 languages I think plus English and American Sign Language) Great if you want to learn one of these 12 most popular languages, but a complete non-starter if you need to learn one of the very many second-tier (in terms of popularity) languages Other language-learning apps score much better in terms of the breadth of language coverage

This was really helpful cause I’m using Pimsleur right now to learn Dutch… I have a baby in the Netherlands so I figure I should learn how to speak to them eventually… wanted to get another supplement Was wondering if I should go with Rosetta Stone or Memrise, and this video helps I think I’ll try memorize as you recommend that is a good supplemental so thank you

Thank's guys! Pimslur and Rocket Languages have been things I've been looking at for a long time (although I've also heard and seen good things about Babel but I'm more looking for audio lesions) You guys have said many times Rocket Languages is the way to go, so I'm planning on picking one of their courses up Now It's just about deciding witch of the amazing languages to learn!

Learning Indonesian Reason: it started for work, now just because I have startedbrbrI started of Babbel It was good Even giving some cultural context But it stopped after "Beginner 2" While other languages clearly had intermediate and advanced levels So I'm just waiting for the update with new lessons to continue Why pay when finished and cannot continue?brbrBefore the makeover, Duolingo had good grammar notes for its Indonesian lesson, but with the makeover, all is gone

Great video, thanks! I'm learning Spanish It's always been my desire to learn Spanish and I've taken courses, used apps, etc over the years Especially now, I find that retiring to a Latin American country for part of the year has really cut down on my expenses and has allowed me to fulfil that specific dream for me It's been too easy to stay within the English expat bubble however I want to fully enjoy my time there and interact with the locals in a more meaningful way

To answer your question, I'm trying to learn Spanish for work because I travel a lot, and many of my colleagues speak different languages like Spanish, Tagolog, French, Chinese, and Russian Learning new languages would enable me to connect with everyone on a more personal level, help me to communicate as a leader at work, and also as a friend in my local community Personally, I agree that Rocket 🚀 is the best, but it is SO pricey Please help, and thank you for this informative video! This is a great comprehensive review I’ve only used Duolingo in the past but it seems that other programs are a little more adaptable to different learning styles My fiancé just started teaching a student from Hungary so it’s nice to know there are options for us to practice the language!
