What about oil changes, replacing damaged tires, windhsield wiper blades and other things like that? Are people generally responsible for those things during lease contract? If a bad fuel causes damage, does the driver have to pay for repairs? Comment from : @RealityTrailers |

The problem with leasing any vehicle is the dealerships want thousands up front in additional to the monthly payments This makes no sense, why would I put down $500000 on a new vehicle that doesn't lessen the number of payments, it just reduces the overall price of the vehicle When you lease a vehicle, you only finance the portion of the total lease, not the entire price of the vehicle I'm finding dealerships are asking too much for a monthly payment and way too much to put down upfront besides taxes and state fees Your better off buying a 2 or 3 year old used vehicle and whatever you put down goes towards the actual purchase price Leasing new and buying new is really bad in 2023 Comment from : @qleap25 |

Another one I'm sending off to a relative that will have a lease coming due The main thing was "Negotiate like you're buying it", because they will pack on fees and charges to "make" your monthly payment People get trapped into that because it's a regular fee that they can budget for and count on, but it comes at a cost if not done right Comment from : @googleusergp |

The one thing that leasing a vehicle provides is peace of mind with regard to vehicle warranties In other words, there will never be a need for, or any reason whatsoever for one to purchase an extended warranty For me, the peace of mind factor always triumphed over all other concerns This only changed for me due to the fact that my vehicle, a 2018 Toyota Rav4 Hybrid Limited, was nearly 15,000 miles under the mileage limit of 36,000 miles when the lease was expiring Also, when it was clear that the purchase price at the end of the lease was much lower than what the vehicle was selling for pre-owned, combined with the fact that this particular vehicle was (and still is) so reliable and fuel efficient, and the lack of availability of a good replacement for a price not artificially inflated, it made sense financially to purchase the vehicle Comment from : @Dac54 |
