I do single stocks Strictly blue chip dividend growth stocks I study intrinsic value it's worked pretty well for 2 years At 24 I make 130$ in passive income I hold 25 different companies pretty much making up my own ETF I just prefer the dividend income to reinvest rather than having all my money tied up in stock price

Why’d you put 27k in a stock you don’t believe in? Unless you were chasing a pump and dump stock You can invest in single stocks (Amazon, Apple etc) But if your putting 27k in like GNUS trying to hit it bigyou in for a bad deal Also if it’s Boeing hold You’ll make your money back The only way you sell is if you truely believe you found another stock that can make you some of that money back in a shorter time and you can take some of that money and buy it back later

The usual problem I see with single stock buyers is that many of them seem more geared towards buying a large lump sum at a single price point with the intent of making quick returns, and without doing any due diligence on the stock they buy
