Great video! I'm curious to ask—and I hope you don't find the question patronizing—but was the omission of "Le" and "de l'" (or articles in general) in the restaurant's name a thing (or is something that happens) in casual French conversation? I'm a learner of the language and I'm trying to pick up on the nuances of French Reason I asked is because you didn't omit the La in La Coupole and La Rotonde Comment from : halfthefiber |

Bin to this place (La Rotonde) a couple of times when i lived in Paris and really enjoyed it Stopped going though, when i moved to the 17th After a while though, i stopped eating anything but quick lunches in the typical Brasseries I mostly only used Brasseries for a quick lunch or a beer / glass of wine / a get27 after work For 'real' dining i switched more to classic restaurants Small local mom and pop places for me and my girlfriend on the weekend, French-Italian classics such as 'Noto' (my favorite in the 17th - though technically located in the 8th) for entertaining guests and family Comment from : IANinALTONA |
