I cant really agree with this idea, if we were designed to focus on the crocodile we wouldv been eaten by the lion Some of us HSPs ADHDs helped you all survive because we noticed everything the rustle of leaves, the flexing of internal factional muscle, the toxic water, the scent of distant bushfire, the straggler crying, the putin mortars, the rat stealing your last biscuit, I think at least there was and stiill is a big role for multi focus in survival conditions How does this reconcile with evolution? Is it the attentive depth or duration? or the idea that the scanning sentinel passes the alarm to other types to respond with single focus action?
