HI DAN well here's a great story true story for you I was a TAXI operator in Canberra 1966 [cash days]and my kids used to save my round 50c for pocket money in a jars when the jar was full they took it to the bank WOW I guess those jars would be worth heaps today memories memories CHEERS TERRY

In the 60s a mate of mines brother was a bank Jonny ,and he had a shoe box of rolls ❤his mum pilfered them over a few yrs for bread and milk due to a gambling father 😞

These coins are amazing Big sized, durable, good weight, and they make great silver sound when they clanged with one another I have 12 of them, and I occasionally take them out to play around like a pirate with his stash Can't do that with my pure 999 silver coins Those pure silver coins will get scratched easily 😂

Funny how things change brI remember growing up in Ausralia (70-80's) I collected all the variations of the "dodecagon" 50cents which are pretty much worthless and I only have 1 round silver one

when i was young i got a few of the 50 cent collections in the perspex cases, had the round one with others like captain cook etc, usually 7 or 8 coins

Hi Dan love the proof set very nice condition for its age I do collect the 1966 50c so far I have about 56 not that many but getting there I'm not 100 sure but I was told there was some 1969 rounds made by mistake 🤔🤷‍♂️ who knows cheers mate 👍👊
