I grew up a Jeff Gordon fan and i stopped watching Nascar when he retired I recently just got back into it and now i support William Byron and Bubba Wallace 😂 It doesnt have the same feel as old nascar but im gonna give it a chance people always complain about everything anyway 💯 one question i do have is what is the biggest reason why most of the older fans dont enjoy the sport? Im not saying i dont agree with you if you dont but i want to pinpoint whats the biggest reason most of the diehards dont like NASCAR anymore?

The draft in nascar is so weak now that it's boring, no passing can happen F1 with drs is too much, indycar is the perfect amount of tow from the draft That's why the i500 is so fun

I enjoy auto racing I grew up watching his brother in all the Earth hearts all those guys, the Allisons… NASCAR is the same as Indy racing Everybody races in one line and barely passes It’s just what racing is I think at this point, he’s realizing the sport that he grew up with is no longer the sport he’s involved with I don’t watch NASCAR I don’t watch Indy because it’s just a bunch of people now in a line

Sr’s rant on bad racing at Daytona reminds me so much of none other than his son’s interview post race Daytona 2011 Dale Jr hated the tandem drafting because he was always forced to push rather than lead, His teammates didn’t know how to keep the car hooked up longer than half a lap and they’d lose ground, Jr unfortunately mastered pushing in the tandem draft so he’s always end up losing or getting caught up in a wreck he couldn’t see coming
