I used to sing solos in our choir when I was young Sang in front of 200 people or more ,now I feel like I'm struggling I loved singing, I still sing around the house everyday, much to his dismay I don't like the yelling in singing, I think it should be music, tone I don't want to sing like Swift A strong voice yes but no need for the screaming That's not directed at you

I hear this about everything! Also, I was brought up in a Christian home so when I started singing at 6-7 yrs old but as a young person, myself as well as my best friend used to go from church to church with a song which we chose for it’s message and meaning to us and we knew would resonate with those listening We never expected claps or any sort of approval later I think that set me up to 💯 understand exactly what you’re saying The fact of the matter is that I had to often try to not think about the words because I would cry

At 67 trying to sing and play piano and guitar is challenging There is little feedback at my age To add to this I live on a farm away from cities and peoples So the approval of other people is nil But I keep plugging away at it if only for myself, the greatest critic I have a few songs on here but very amateurish Any input from anybody neg or pos would be appreciated Thanx!

Possibly, but you still need a decent voice to begin with You can't all of a sudden have a voice just from thinking a certain way, but you might be able to improve an already decent voice

Yes you cannot be both the performer and audience I just concentrate on projection and being animated and positive using my arms etc he’s correct when you’re singing you are working a job that most people would die to be good at so appreciate the talent
