Extremely informative I just realized the lettering was flipped on two of my Washington dollar coins Ive just recently got back into collecting and am working on getting a set up My biggest question is what do you do when you find a coin that is so dirty and beat up that you can't make out any details Is there a safe way to clean coins that probably already won't have value if left untouched Some of my coins I would be excited just to know what they were If I leave them as is I may as well spend them Just for curiosity sake thought I'd love to be able to see some of the picture at least, even if I send it back into the world Im a cashier some coins come through in horrible state

I have an Abraham Lincoln Golden Dollar with no rim engraving at all It is probably not worth much But it is interesting to have a genuine mint error coin Maybe the future may bring this dollar to be worth more someday
