I studied CS too It was so hard that few could pass those exams Most of students went to work normal jobs (University was on the top of the world in some fields of CS, but they run out of money to continue their research) I don't think students needed those maths One the other hand now I see CS programs becoming very dull Now they make it too easy No wonder companies no longer hire students from universities

Most schools and financial aid (at least in America) require thst you dont miss more than 3 classes per semester before you either have to repeat the course or lose a letter grade for each additional absense I do agree that the material csn be outdated and taught in bad ways but if you have already invested a few years in college would recommend just finishing up unless you already made serious cash and need to devote full time

I'm gonna be honest, this is a completely soul sucking approach to education, and it's not surprising to hear that despite high academic achievement, it resulted in dropping out brbrIt literally doesn't make sense to go to university if this is your thought process The point of Uni is that you delve deeply into the topics and content of your major while exploring other diverse topics to round you out If you're just gonna gut the education experience into a simple grade processing simulator, you might as well just do a boot camp and grind away like a worker bee on leetcode instead of wasting that time studying for a test that you'll forget about in a few weeks
