I may be wrong but I seem to remember seeing dies for sale with a deep "X" indented into the die to stop someone from using it That would make a much better collectable being able to see a large portion of the original die I almost purchased one as I recall, again I may be wrong or maybe they were not the quarter series dies Comment from : @davidbeckerich
