I met you during shakeout run, took a picture with you, got your Pancake shirt ❤️walked back to meet kids for lunch and I received a call that my dad just passed away half across the globe in Bali, Indonesia 💔💔💔brScrambling to get ticket back I ran Chicago Marathon with heavy heart and mixed emotions, managed to finished it 1 hour slower than my previous time It is amazing what humans can do and I hopefully will always be able to run and celebrate how lucky we are to be Alive and Healthy 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Mannnn I was fortunate to run it this year and made it a celebration run … cruised and just took it all in and just wanted to enjoy the experience I brought my family along with me because it’s my first major outside of Chicago Gonna do everything possible to get back and run it again salute to everyone who ran it too 👏🏿👏🏿

Nicely Done 👍🏿 I loved seeing the final finishing runners who worked hard for so long I’m 69 and five weeks from my 22nd marathon In my early days of running (3:04 marathon PR), it was all about going fast Now it’s about having fun to the finish and just being grateful to still be running
