 The actions of Breckinridge Long in the US State Department prior to and during the war, should have, and still needs to be, addressed as one of the darkest stains of American foreign policy His actions and inactions, were directly responsible for 100s of deaths - if not thousands His actions were despicable, cowardly and opportunistic, which even following his discharge from the State Department, he really has never faced public scrutiny Sadly, his actions would be hailed in today's world/America

 I am alway so saddened to hear of the horrors some monsters have been capable of inflicting on others but so very grateful for survivors and those who can educate mankind May this education not be wasted by a single person who now has knowledge of these shared stories so that the ignorance and voracious hatred of those who perpetrated these horrors can someday be eradicated
