The main risk of pegging the dollar is that it forces regulation of the amount one can purchase in US currency at any given time Right now, you can go into a cambio this minute and get a reasonable amount of USD without any restriction In Barbados 🇧🇧 that amount is nothing more than $500 USD A floating currency generates cash flow on the open market, and a pegged currency doesn't🤔
